How HostLaunch Bills You

All HostLaunch customers are billed $1 for each active customer that they have at the beginning of the month. An active customer is any customer that has at least one active server subscription on the start of a billing cycle. The amount of servers that a customer creates under their account does not increase your monthly HostLaunch costs.

There are a few unique scenarios that will determine whether you will be charged for a customer or not due to the way your customers' subscriptions work:

  1. If one of your customers creates a server with five days or less in the month, then they will have a subscription created that is active through the end of the current month as well as the following month. Thus, you will be billed for them being an active customer even if they delete their server associated with the subscription before the first of the next month, as the subscription that they purchased extends into the end of the following month.

  2. If your customer creates a server with five or more days left in the month and then deletes it before the end of the month, you will not be billed for them. This is because their subscription will end at the end of the current month, and thus would not be considered active.

  3. If a customer creates a server on the first of the month, you will not be billed for that customer in the current month. However, if they remain a customer into the following month, you will then be charged for that customer in that billing cycle.
