To begin using your HostLaunch account, you'll need to set up all required API keys, including your ServerPilot API key. Your ServerPilot API key is used by HostLaunch to manage servers and sites in your ServerPilot account. This article will show you how to get your ServerPilot API key.
First, you'll need to create an ServerPilot account specifically for use with HostLaunch. If you already have a HostLaunch-specific ServerPilot account, you can skip this step.
Go to ServerPilot and click the Sign Up link at the top right.
On the next page, enter your email address and password
Your ServerPilot account is now created.
Next, click on Account and then Settings to view your billing information. Click on Update Credit Card and add your credit card when promoted.
Once you're logged into ServerPilot, click Account at the top right and then Settings.
On the next page, click API on the left navigation bar.
Your Client ID will be pre-populated. Click New API Key.
Now enter the ServerPilot Client ID and API key into your HostLaunch account settings.
Your HostLaunch account can now manage your ServerPilot servers and sites.
If you regenerate your ServerPilot API key in the future, be sure to update HostLaunch with the new ServerPilot API key so that HostLaunch continues to work correctly for you and your customers.
